Eden Hazard has completed his highly anticipated move to Real Madrid from Chelsea. The Spanish club confirmed the signing of the Belgium star on a five-year deal on Friday. The deal is expected to around £ 88.5 million with significant add-ons which can increase the total payout to £ 130 million.
It is no secret that hazard dreamed of joining the Spanish club and in a statement released on his social media account on he made it clear. Hazard insisted he would have never considered leaving for any other club and thanked owner Roman Abramovich for granting his wish.
Hazard will leave Chelsea after 110 goals and 81 assists in 352 appearances in all competition. During his stay at Chelsea Hazard won 6 major trophies. The latest being the Europa league in which he helped his team to defeat Arsenal in a 4-1 trashing.
Hazard is set to become Madrid’s 3rd signing this summer after Eder Militao from Fc Porto and Luka Jovic from Frankfurt.
The LaLiga giants have announced that Hazard will be presented at the Santiago Bernabeu on Thursday 13th June.
