The Italian sports car manufacturer is ready to present the world with one of their most controversial SUVs- Ferrari Purosangue. In an interview chief technical officer Michael Leiters- said that “I think we have found the concept and a package which is one-sided and a real SUV and will convince the SUV customers to invest in it. But, on the other hand, there is a huge difference when it is compared to other SUVs of this segment.” This seems to be a challenging phase for the company, but the manufacturers are pretty confident about this concept. The feel that this concept is very real and unique in its category.
Ferrari Purosangue is the next-generation performance car, which comes with a front-engine platform. As per the sources, the SUV will be available in 3 engine options, the V6, V8, and V12 for the higher variant. Although the electric vehicles are on the run, the company has not removed the engines completely. But they have included electric hybrid powertrain which helps in reducing weight of overall unit and produces instantaneous torque. This combination of IC engines and e-powertrain will help produce a tremendous amount of power with a quick torque generation.
Ferrari’sfront mid-engine is best in class and is the solution to enhance the performance,handling and stability of the car. The Purosangue will see up-gradation in interiors, design, and new e-power hybrid technology. It will be launched in mid-2022. The company is now going to enter an all-new segment. The competitors of Ferrari Purosaangue are Lamborghini Urus, Audi Q7, BMW X7, Rolls Royce Cullinan, etc.
