What’s next from Bugatti? Rumors about its concepts and the future

Bugatti is planning to launch an all new segment of the automobiles. The french company doesn't want an SUV as their next successor.

This year, Bugatti celebrated its 110 years of course of action and innovation. The French company announced the Bugatti Centodieci, to celebrate its success. Now, what’s next from the company? In a recent interview, the president of Bugatti, Mr. Stephan Winkelmann, has shared some plans for the future of the company.

First of all, the company wants to do something big and innovative. They are planning a whole new segment to introduce in the coming years. Though the SUV and Crossover segment is on the rise, they are still not in favor to release an SUV line up in the future. The company is in support of going for a four-seater model. This model will not compete with Volkswagon Toureg, Lamborghini Urus, Audi Q7 or Porsche Cayenne, because it will be priced much higher than these. Since the company is sure to develop its architecture for the top riding models, the price can be as high as $1 Million.

The French manufacturers are not sure to introduce the pure electric technology in their segment. But still, they are pretty confident about a gasoline-hybrid setup. Volkswagen Group is investing money in electric vehicles and autonomous technology. On the other hand, Bugatti’s W16 engine is the heart of their models, but cannot continue forever. Hence, new technology and innovation is essential in this dynamic automotive industry.
