GTA 6 rumors and leaks
It has also been rumored that GTA 6 will be out in 2020, with an exclusive for the upcoming PS5 that will be set in Vice City. A new leak has appeared in the GTA sub-reddit, claiming that GTA 6 will have a male and female protagonist. The map will also include two cities, with a map 4 times the size of GTA 5. The current game already has a massive map, too hard to navigate. It will be interesting to see how large the upcoming map will be!

There is also heavy emphasis on the fact that buildings will be available to roam in and explore for the players. As the reddit post by Dextero indicates, the reveal will probably be happening in Autumn 2020. All this data points to a 2021 release date for the next Grand Theft Auto.

Cross-generational support won’t be coming
The evidence points towards the fact that the PS4 and Xbox One (referred now to the older generation consoles) will not be receiving support for the next-generation game. The Xbox Scarlett will be launching in 2020, probably along with the PS5, which puts the two next-generation consoles ready to receive the new game.

If you were expecting to be able to play GTA 6 on your existing console, it truly is bad luck. You will need a powerful gaming PC, or a next-generation console to be able to support the game!
