Trump businesses won’t receive aid from $2 trillion coronavirus stimulus

Under the new $2 trillion coronavirus stimulus deal, Trump businesses will not be eligible for aid money. This deal is being proposed to compensate for the loss in the economy amid the corona outbreak. The legislation is expected to have a vote and be cleared on later Wednesday. A senate leader has titled is as the “largest rescue package in American History”

The Trump Organization is one which the president hasn’t stripped off yet. It is handled by the Trump’s sons, Donald Jr. and Eric. Under this company, come a number of hotels, resorts and golf clubs. This also includes Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida which closed down last week during its peak season. The business manages tourists and the tourist industry is the worst hit. The critics were concerned that Trump will get money as an abdicate for the same. Under this bill, the Vice President and other cabinet members will also be banned from receiving aid from the stimulus deal for their businesses, if any are applicable.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., announced that the legislation would be put to vote soon. If the senate approves of it, it will be taken forward to then face the Democratic-led house.
