Toyota Harrier 2020 revealed, launch in later 2020

Both petrol and hybrid options are available from Toyota.

The Japanese manufacturers revealed the Toyota Harrier a couple of days ago in Japan. The 2020 Harrier is the latest SUV from Toyota and is going to launch later this year. There is nothing wrong with saying that it forms the base for Lexus RX. While the people were waiting for the all-new Fortuner, the company decided to enhance their excitement after revealing the new Toyota Harrier.

The new SUV from Toyota is based on the TNGA-K platforms and forms a monocoque construction. The platform is successful in lowering the center of gravity and making a rigid body type. Hence, it improves performance, riding comfort, and enhances driver sensitivity. The Toyota Harrier 2020 looks like a long coupe. Although the SUV is 4.7 m long, the company decided to make it a five-seater only.

Sportier from the outside

The Toyota Harrier 2020 is a long-wheelbase SUV. It looks sportier and sharper from the front. The large kidney grille mixing into the bright, edgy headlamps makes a perfect stance. The thin LED DRLs are used both in front and in the rear. The rear lamps merge into each other, continuing the sharper look. The SUV stands tall and broad. The windshield and the back glass is vast and gives a bold look.

The excellent seating position makes the driver feel confident, and the wide windshield gives a crystal clear outer view.

Under the hood of Harrier 2020

The Japanese company paid full attention to performance. Both petrol and hybrid engine options are available with the new Toyota Harrier 2020. The 2.0 liter 4 cylinder petrol engine produces 171bhp and 207 Nm of standard torque A 2.5 liter generates a total of 218bhp(178bhp plus power from 88kW electric motor) and a tremendous amount of torque in the dual-wheel drive. The AWD variant adds on 40bhp in all other options.

Price of Toyota Harrier 2020

According to the manufacturers, the global launch of all-new Toyota Harrier 2020 will take place later this year. Toyota does not announce the India launch of the Harrier 2020 yet. But due to the spread of coronavirus pandemic, it may be shifted to some other dates. The company gave no hints regarding the price of Toyota Harrier 2020.
