Beyoncé makes a surprise appearance in ABC’s ‘Disney Family Singalong’

The American superstar Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter surprises the Disney singalong show with ‘when you wish upon a star’ from Walt Disney’s 1940 adaptation of Pinocchio.

What was this singalong about?

Amid the coronavirus quarantine, ABC broadcasted a virtual collection of performances as part of its Disney Family Singalong event, which starred Christiana Aguilera, John Stamos, Kristen Chenoweth, and more. They sang classic Disney songs from movies like FrozenThe Little Mermaid, Moana, and more.

This show was hosted by Ryan Seacrest, an American radio personality, television host, producer, and broadcast journalist. Songs from Toy Story, Beauty and the Beast and High School Musical were also performed during the event. Meanwhile, ABC also aired PSAs, featuring additional talent raising awareness about resources that could be useful to people to face hunger challenges due to the coronavirus pandemic.

On Thursday evening, Beyoncé’s fans and the show’s audience were surprised to see her singing in the ‘Family Singalong.’
