Tom Cruise to act in first-ever movie shot in space with NASA and SpaceX

The Mission Impossible action star and NASA is reportedly in talks over a movie shot in actual outer space.

The star is known for his Mission: Impossible franchise, the largest action spy franchise after James Bond. The man is also famous for doing his own insane stunts. He’s jumped off of planes, climbed onto a military aircraft taking off, hanged from a moving helicopter over the Himalayas, and a lot of unimaginable stunts and age hasn’t got anything on him. Outer-space wasn’t long from here. He’s probably done all the stunts conceivable on earth. This isn’t even his first sci-fi space movie, Oblivion is.

According to Deadline, Elon Musk’s Space X, NASA, and Tom Cruise have partnered up to make the first feature film to be shot in outer space. It’s confirmed that this will not be another installment of the Mission series, according to Chris McQuarrie, the director, and MI:7’s shooting’s been pushed back. This claim of Deadline is confirmed by NASA administrator Jim Bridenstine’s tweet, to which Elon Musk responded too.

Looking back at all the crazy things Tom Cruise and Elon Musk have done, this will not come as a surprise, although I’m not sure how Tom’s going to do his legendary run in zero gravity.
