Pakistani Cricketer Shahid Afridi tested positive for COVID-19

Karachi: The world is still trying to adapt to the new situations that arose due to the unexpected pandemic. People are trying to accept the change and move on. Slowly, each sector is resuming its activities to neutralize the economic balance that got disturbed due to lockdown.

In the same way, a few cricketers have recently publicly stated that we are ready to play in empty stadiums and work hard to restore to normalcy. In this scenario, COVID-19 has started hunting big profile players like Shahid Afridi, as the ex-captain of the Pakistani side tested positive for the COVID-19 test. He tweeted a few hours ago confirming his positive status and for asking his fans to pray for him.

Afridi tweeted “I’ve been feeling unwell since Thursday; my body had been aching badly. I’ve been tested and unfortunately I’m covid positive. Need prayers for a speedy recovery, InshaAllah #COVID19 #pandemic #hopenotout #staysafe #stayhome
