It’s time to bid adieu to the ‘classic’ blue Facebook look

The classic blue Facebook design will no longer be available for the users from September. Facebook had already announced its new design at Facebook’s developer conference last year. Engadget reported that a Facebook support page had been updated, saying everyone will soon have the new design.

Android and iOS apps had switched to the new design long ago. From May, Facebook started rolling out the design for web users as well, but it was an opt-in feature. It allowed most of the users to keep using the classic design.

As of now, you can still use the classic design. Engadget identified a warning sign is the Facebook support page, which warns that “the classic Facebook will no longer be available starting in September.”

By this, we can conclude that its time to move on to the new design.

“We’ve updated how www.facebook.com looks. If you’re using the new Facebook.com, you can switch back to the classic Facebook temporarily. Starting in September, everyone will have the new design,” says Facebook’s help center.
