At 12 p.m. EST on Wednesday (January 20), President-elect Joe Biden was inaugurated to be the 46th President of the United States. Former presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama shared their support and congratulatory messages for the new President in a video that was aired on Wednesday, during the “Celebrating America” inauguration special.
The previous Presidents’ messages were filmed at the Memorial Amphitheater at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia. All three of them shared the fact that they will be ready to help in whatever way they could as citizens, which shows that even if they have differences, they would not hesitate to come forward to help better the country as a whole.
Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump’s presence was notably missing after his farewell event at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, before he moved to his permanent residence in Florida. He had told that he did not want to be part of Joe Biden’s inauguration.
