After a ban of drinking booze at the base camps. 11 soldier’s were hospitalized after they developed symptoms a few hours after they drunk the unknown substance.
Army officials at the base camp in texas are currently working on how the incident happened.
The incident happened immediately after the soldiers came back from a 10-day field exercise, Fort bliss officials said in a statement.
Soldiers began experiencing symptoms between 7 am and 1 pm, the same after they drunk “booze.”
This has left two soldiers in critical condition as they were admitted at William Beaumont Army Medical Center.
After tests were conducted by the 11th Air Defense Artillery Brigade, 32d Army Air and Missile Defense Command ethylene glycol poisoning with symptoms that include seizures, going into a coma, and cerebral edema in some cases.
