After doubts over the correlation between the AstraZeneca COVID vaccine and blood clots, many European countries ceased deployment.
The European Union’s pharmaceutical regulator investigated the vaccine and declared that it remains safe for application. However, they mentioned that they could not rule out a clear link to a small number of blood clots.
Italy, Spain, France and Germany are resuming the application of the drug on Friday, with more countries expected to follow suit.
The British and French Prime Ministers are both due to receive an AstraZeneca vaccine on Friday, in order to increase public confidence in the jab.
